Guided by the Director of Hirono Makiba Observatory
Participants enjoyed strolling through scenic spots while listening to explanations by Mr. Toshio Abe, Director of the Hirono Makiba Observatory.
While admiring the beautiful cherry blossoms, they also deepened their understanding of local geology at the former Kanegasawa iron sand mining site of Kawasaki Steel.
After the walk, participants enjoyed “Ono Dam Curry” at Green Hill Ono, fully experiencing the charm of Ono in spring.

- Meeting Place: In front of the information board at Ono Dam Waterside Park Parking Lot
- Capacity: 20 participants
*Advance registration required - Participation Fee: 500 yen (same price for adults and children)
- Eligibility: Open to all ages and genders
*Children in elementary school or younger must be accompanied by a guardian - What to Bring: Drinking water, rainwear, health insurance card (copy accepted)
*Please wear comfortable walking shoes, as part of the route is on gravel paths.

Meet and registration at Ono Dam Waterside Park Parking Lot (Information Board)
Depart from the parking lot
Walk approximately 3 km around Ono Dam while enjoying cherry blossoms
Return to the parking lot
Snack break at the lawn area with “Anpan” (sweet bread) and “Yume Milk”
Closing remarks and dismissal
